Hi All

I would like to buy my 1st Volvo. I am looking for a v40.
I have 3questions to make sure I buy a good used car:
1- Is there a model that is significantly better than others? According to msn auto a v40 model 2002 or 2003 is more reliable. Is it your feeling too?
2- I know almost nothing about mechanic so what should I make sure and how can I control? i.e. timing belt changed and I have to look at it to be sure it is not cracked
3- Is it too old if I get a 2002 with 110K miles
