whining noise 95 850 glt 2.4 i-5 non turbo sounds like a typical power steering noise but i replaced it and the alternator its niether any help

 

It may be the timing belt pulley or tensioner. If so, it needs to be repaired ASAP. If that breaks it's bad new.

I just replaced them in my 960. The tensioner roller was so loose it spun freely like a loose wheel on a roller skate and the pulley was so tight that it took 2 hands to turn it. Bad situation. If either breaks it will likely do a lot of damage.
