I'm negotiating to buy a 1995 940 turbo wagon, 100,000 miles in ok condition, for my soon-to-be driving teenage son. Is this the starter car one would recommend? I've never owned a Volvo before. The car looks good, but the ride is harsh, every bump in the road felt. Is this normal for the wagon? Would new struts (@$2,000+) make much of a difference?
