wipers intermittent problems

wipers work,then stop in differant places,switch is off. any body have a clue?

You might want to start by reading the BEFORE YOU POST notes. You need to list the model and year car you have then explain your problem better.

Do the wipers stop as soon as you turn off the switch? If yes, then the "park" contact switch inside the wiper motor is bad.
