Default XC60 Battery Cable Fuse Shuts off Engine

I noticed a thread about my problem but I thought I'd start a new one. I have a 2015 XC60 T5 2.5L, now with 171K miles, owned for three years. I've had the problem of the full electric shutting off as the car is driving. This happens as the car is slowing to a stop - when I stop the car the electric just dies and there are no lights on the dash or other features. Completely out. This has happened a few times over the last two years, but about five times in the last week. I have to pop the hood, and bang a few times on the battery box and the electric comes back. It might take three times of banging to renew it. Now I just leave the battery box top off and tap on the positive battery cable fuse with a screwdriver handle.

I have a brand new battery, and the starter works fine, no problem in turning the car over. Learning from an older thread here and also a Youtube video it seems that the fuse located in the positive battery cable is tripping and shutting the electric off. Eventually it resets and comes back, whether it's the banging I do or just on its own.

I've ordered a new short positive battey cable/fuse from Volvo, and I'll have to splice it in to the existing positive battery cable.

My questions are - is the problem solely with the fuse, meaning that replacing the old one will fully rectify the problem? Or, I realized just this morning that this problem only happens in warm weather, when I might have the AC on. I can't recall it happening in the winter. So, is it possible that the AC is adding extra draw on the battery cable and fuse, leading to its shutdown? Is there a possibility that a faulty AC part is causing the fuse to trip?

Your advice is appreciated - thanks -

Bob
