Default My OBX Exhaust!

Well I installed my OBX turbo back system this weekend. I am surprised how quiet it is at idle and how nice it looks. Here are some pics of the exhaust.

Looks & sounds good! I'm looking at getting either this or the IPD turbo back.

Did it come with a cat or did you have to find one and get it welded in?

The IPD setup is a little over a grand shipped, is this more or less than that with everything said & done?

Looks like you have the dreaded white smoke too..
I just threw my first O2 code today, Defiantly running rich. Im going to try the non-fouler trick first, and if not spend the $30 to get the CEL eliminator.
Im going to try to cut the tip down this week if its not so damn hot out..
Ill post the pics once I cut it. If you like it, And you want you can swing across the state and use the plasma and the mig.

The OBX is only $350 + Shipping
It is cat-less. Here in FL we dont have to worry about inspection...
but the pipe where the cat goes can just be un-clamped and just that piece brought to a muffler shop to get a cat welded in. They made real simple.

Sneaky vid there. Would love to see the long term reliability of OBX.

Smoke could just be from the carbon build up on the welds, or some of the fringed fiberglass covers inside the muffler.

Its its burning oil.. It seems like the factory cat was way to efficient in eliminating the smoke. I rebuilt my turbo already and it has slowed down, next is the valve stem seals.. Hopefuly that will cure it

When it's warm it's ok! I'll keep an eye on it!
