Default Power drivers seat binding

I've been fighting the power drivers seat for a few hours. The inside track binds up when adjusting the seat forwards or backwards. The outside track moves freely. I don't see any obvious hang ups in the track, no loose change or rocks or anything. Is there something I am over looking? If it's a problem with the motor assembly is it possible to swamp in a manual track and still keep the leather seat?

Just got our V90 and have the same problem with both seats. After hours of internet searching it looks like the problem is the drive cable from the middle motor under the seat. Instructions for the fix are on the net. Sorry I don't have a link. Seems the outer cable stretches over time. The fix is to raise the front of the seat, unbolt the middle motor and remove the cable from the inside track gear. Pull out the inner cable. Remove end of outer cable. Cut off 1/4" or so. Reassemble everything and enjoy. You can move the seat by reaching under there and pushing on the offending cable while you hit the switch. Be careful not to cut or remove any fingers.

Hope this helps. As I said, detail instructions are on line somewhere...

Default Power Seat Issue

Did you ever find the links on the 'Net for fixing the binding problem? I just purchased a '97 S90 (or 960) and the left side of the driver's seat moves but the right side doesn't budge.
