I have a 98 v70xc70 AWD turbo wagon. When it runs, it is a great car, but it seems to be a money pit to keep it running. But I digress. The hinge support for the armrest/drinkholder is broken in the center console. Volvo, of course is very proud of a new one (about $160). I have located several LKQ consoles, but all are broken in the exact same spot, an obvious design defect.

Is there an aftermarket console that can be substituted? Or, does Volvo or anyone else make a repair kit for it? The color on mine is oak.
