Just got my first Volvo. Anything I should know about this car?

Welcome to the forum. There was a recall on the TCM. If yours is the non turbo and has the Magnetti-Marelli module it was recalled. Check with a dealer, give them your VIN number and they can tell you whether the recall work was done.
