hi, i am new around here and i like to say HI !! to everybody around and i will go ahead and thank everybody for taking the time to help lost,weekend mechanics like myself.lol, now, i have a 2002 s60 2.4t that has been striped down for painting and never put back toghether,plus deployed airbags, i stumbled upon a 2004 2.4 front ended,but with no deployments, so i decided to buy it to transfer the whole interior to mine 02,i have done most of the work already, but i am unsure of the fitments for the aibags,the do fit on the 02,but which airbag computer module should i use? and if this will work?... also i am atempting to transfer the ignition lock and surroundings electrical parts from the 04 to the 02 for 2 reasons,one, my 02 had no more door locks,all 4 missing and two, i want that switch blade key on my 02,does anybody think i will be able to do this, i am actually half way doing it already, but i like to know if will work... thanks for your time.

 

ugh this is a tough one.

airbags - i would use the module that comes with the airbags to mmake sure their is matching BUT there are other sensors that are involved.
I do not think this will work

you are getting yourself into a real mess with the key issues. Its doable but I wouldn't know how to recommend you proceed. You will need dealer assist with programing.
