Hello to all I just joined, and need some help. Car was running find, pulled into drive way shut off car, the next day and until now the car will not start or sputter.
1- 12 v on ignition coil, terminals # 15, # 1
2- spark on spark plug
3 timing belt new and turning (about a year old now)
4- EM closes both # 1 and # 2 coils, one opens after about 1-2 sec.
5 -Both fuel pumps make a whirling sound
6- Open fuel rail and got a good flow of clean/no water, gas
7-replaced battery and keep battery fully charge for testing
8 12 v on injector
9- removed rubber tube to intake and sprayed either, still no bang/pop
I assume the items like the hall sensor, power stage/ are OK do to spark/fuel flow.
Can the ECU be bad and would I still see fuel/spark, as many times as I have tried I have yet to the motor sputter.
How can I confirm if the ECU if bad?
