Default 1995 Wagon 5spd NA 355K

Hello!! I have been waiting to Become the proud owner of this Gem. My brother gave it to me as he recently acquired a new company truck. Its a black 850 GLT wagon 2.4 NA 5 speed. She has 355k on the clock. Proper maintenance has been done since leaving the dealership so I expect to have this vehicle for some time. I'm Happy to become a member of this forum and definitely have some questions.

1. The drivers seat is stuck in the reclined position. I can hear the motor running. I can feel it click in the seat back. How does this function and whats the best way to diagnose the issue?
2. I need to do inner tie rods. Any tips or tricks? should I just search the site?

Thanks in advance!!
Tyler

Sounds great! Robert has a youtube video about fixing the seat recliner (for free). It's cable drive, and the cable just gets loose in some plastic gear in there. On the tie rods, they're not super easy to get a wrench on, and I always worry that I am not getting them tight enough. I have not had any trouble with the ones I've replaced.

Thanks. I have been Checking out Robert's videos. I'm thinking what he's doing is probable a good way to go about it. Maybe the fastest. Im thinking I would like to go through the stitching on the left rear of the seat and just re-stitch when im done. nothing too fancy but enough to hold the material in place. Ill also unplug and put the SIPS safty plug in place. Tyks
