Default 2001 v70

Hello everyone
l have a 2001 V70,it has been parked for 5yrs, never started or moved.l replaced the battery and refueled. lt fired right up.Problem,my brake pedal goes right to the floor. Full of brake fluid, with no apparent leaks. E brake was on. Any thoughts

Can you build pressure with quick, successive pumps of the pedal? If so, then it's the master cylinder.
You've a bad master cylinder or a rotten brake line or hose.
Double check the reservoir.

Default V70 update

Hi Ed
Thanks for the reply. The brake fluid is full, can't get any brake pressure.
Oddly(lthink) the brake warning light is on, not the ebrake light. Doesn't it only come on if the fluid is low.
Would the seals in the cylinder really dry up after 5 yrs. of non use.
