My question is about the cigarette lighter trim ring light. I've successfully changed my shifter light so I can see the gears at night, as well as my AC and heat **** lights. Now I'm keen to have the plastic ring around the cigarette lighter be illuminated, but I'm not certain how it's done. I opened up the same access areas I did when I replaced the gear shifter light bulb and I see the connection to the lighter. I even unplugged it. But what I don't see or understand is how to replace it or access the bulb, which looks as though it might be in a small casing on the side of the lighter cylinder. I have two pictures that show exactly what I'm referring to.
