Hello ! New to the forums; registered to get some insight to a problem that had been happening since I bought this car last year. On some rare occasions the engine will make a low pitch and loud noise on startup, indicating me that I'm going to have problems driving today... When this sound comes up, I have next to no throttle response at all. When I floor the pedal the car starts moving a bit, and with a bit of time it starts to accelerate. At about 20 km/h the rpm goes to the top. The brakes seems a bit too much responsive when that happens too. The problem goes away after shutting the engine off and restarting it later. It only happened 4 or 5 times in a year but I don't understand what's going on. Local garage will be closed for thanksgiving so I was hoping to get some insight here.
