My question is have any of you went through this issue regarding fuel codes with check engine light? Please read my experience and help me out to find out what is wrong. Thank You

I bought a 2022 XC60 B5 R-Design which i bought at Crest Volvo cars dealership in Frisco, Texas and i just have 1000 miles on it and the check engine came on when i was driving it to Colorado. I always put 91 fuel on the way to Colorado. I took it to Bob Penkhus dealership on NOV 2021 and they checked the codes for the check engine they checked for about 3-4 hours and they said it might just been bad gas thats been sitting at one of the gas stations so in the end they put an additive to the fuel and cleared the check engine light codes. They told me to drive off the gas until almost empty and let me know if the light came back on so i did and the light stayed off until i put shell gas grade 91 back in the tank the check engine light came back on so i made an appointment for maintenance but then about 2 days after the check engine light went off so i canceled the appointment i thought it was the last time. Then now in DEC 2021 the light came back on out of nowhere.

 

Do you know what the code was? The B5s have a bulletin for a specific code requiring a software update and injector reset.

 

Not sure what code it was all they told me was that it was showing fuel codes. I have an appointment on DEC 15th to check the codes at the volvo dealership, ill have an update till then.

 

I took my volvo 2022 XC60 to the volvo dealership here in Colorado and they updated me saying it was just a fuel hose. They changed it and then they called me and told me that wasent the issue i turned it in Dec 15th and theres still no solution any recommendations?
