Default '94 volvo 850 turbo

I just bought a 94 850T which had a smoking problem, lot of smoke when idling blue/white in color. A local mechanic checked it and found lot of oil in the intercooler pipes, cleaned all the pipes and pulled the turbo and recomended a turbo rebuild. I bought the turbo repair kit and had him rebuild it and now again the car is smoking again and oil is in the intercooler pipe again.
This is my first volvo, it has 165k miles, shift great and in very good shape. What should I do to get rid of this problem??Any advice will be appreciated.

Have the Vent box checked and make sure it isn't clogged.

How long did you drive it before it started smoking again?

I drove the car for about 100 miles and thought the minimal smoke which was coming out was from the accumalation in the exhaust after the first turbo failed. This morning I checked the intercooler hoses and are filled with oil.
Where is the Vent box located?
Does it mean the rebuild turbo have failed again?
Thank you.

No it doesn't.
The Vent box is located on the front of the engine. Down under the Intake Manifold.
Like behind the A/C compressor.
Also make sure all hoses coming off of it are clean and not clogged.
If the Vent box is clogged it will suck oil into the system.

I will look at it possibly tommorow sometime and see if the vent is clogged up. I also noticed oil was leaking from a tiny hole in the base of the radiator. This hole is not as a result of damage,it seems the radiator came with it because I had to replace the radiator when I bought the car. If I block the tiny hole the car seems to produce more smoke. Is this hole supposed to be open?

That is the intercooler and yes the hole is supposed to be there to Drain excess oil.

Hi,I am unable to locate the vent, could it be the one where the oil cooling line from the radiator are screwed on.On my car is behind the right front wheel beside the a/c compressor and is screwed just above the oilpan and the oil filter. I checked under the intake manifold and could not find it.

It is very hard to find. I have inserted a Diagram of the setup.
It is located on the front of the engine when you look at it.Really side of the engine front of car.
Also some pics of it with the Intake manifold removed.

Hello,
I have not checked on my Vent yet. I would like to know if the intake manifold must be removed to get to the vent or there is a way around it?

Yes the Manifold has to come off to get to it.
