AUD-210000 Initial configuration not complete.
Hello.
I recently purchased a used 2010 S80 for my wife to learn to drive on. I’ve had a fair number of issues with this car, but the one I can’t figure out is this.
The radio doesn’t work. The screen works for car settings and the like, but the phone and radio keys do not work, aside from the mode button which has all the options greyed out. If I press the power button twice I get the image for Dolby premium sound.
I’ve read the diagnostic data with VIDA. And it has an AUD-2100000 code. I can’t find any info online about this apart from one page in Russian where the guy was trying to upgrade to premium audio, and put in the audio module for it. The same one I have.(31489108) He got the same error, but resolved it by installing his old audio module. I found and installed a used audio module of the same model, and the code briefly cleared, but returned shortly after. The radio still did not work while the code was gone. I know it picked up the new module, because the serial number of the new module was listed in VIDA.
I did see in the software purchase history that someone ordered an AUD Reload in 2021, but it’s marked failed.
I’d like to have it working, especially for resale, but at least I’d like to get the aux working. I know I could probably buy an off the shelf amp and hook it to the speaker wires under the seat, but that’s not ideal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
