check engine - bought yesterday
I have been dreaming of owning a volvo since I was twelve. I bought my first volvo yesterday at 29 and the check engine light came on before I got home. It's a 1998 Volvo S70. I love the car and have called the dealership and told them about the problem. From what I understand the check engine light has something to do with the fuel and emissions, is this correct? Should I expect the dealership to re-examine the car since it's been less than 24 hours since I owned it?
Run back to the dealer...have them check it out and don't take no for an answer...the dealershould look into it because they have to get that light to go off....better safe than sorry.
