Default Glad to find the forums

Hello!

I was happy to find the forums.

It's a beautiful day in Pennsylvania and today will find me detailing my 1993 Volvo 850 GLT. I've had the car since April of '06 and immediately became a huge Vovlo fan. As they say now, "Volvo For Life."

I have hadmy 850off the road since last summer and just can't wait to get driving it again.

This summer projects include: A new paint job, which still is not too shabby after 15 years, but want to give it that showroom look again.

I do have and immediate question that I will post in the threads.

Looking forward to chatting with other 850 fans here!

~ Billy D.

Welcome.
Thank you Tech!

Well, I'm getting antsy here and am going out to tinker around with my 850 now. Again, look forward to sharing and getting to know some people here too.

Thank you all for the nice welcome! Yes, I agree. I have to be able to own and drive a Vovlo. The slogan should be changed to "Spoiled for Life" - LOL.

Delayed welcome from Born in Japan, New Englander at Heart.

There are quite a few 850 experts in the 850 forum. They'll help you like no one else will.

Be sure to follow scheduled maintenance, have recalls taken care of, and the replacement intervals for the timing belt & its related components are every 50,000 miles or 5 years. The interval for '93 models is shorter, as the belt is narrower compared to the later year models. Double-check with Moderator Tech to make sure, but my factory manual states every 50,000 miles.
