2008 V70 3.2 started as slight growl going under 10mph between 1st and 2nd. 148K miles, new to me a month ago, I did two things, the transmission refill/flush and replaced the passenger top torque engine mount that was broken. I haven’t check the other mounts yet.

The growl gets better after 25 minutes of driving, is always worse on deceleration, is not associated with left or right turns other than the slow speed turn from a stop, and on a road with gentle dips the growl goes away when the car is unweighted/rising and worse when the car is weighted/falling, goes up through gears okay.
