Hi guys...ma name is kash.I reside in malaysia.I'm lookin to purchase a volvo s60 but would just like some feedback on topics like...maintenance wise..how's the fuel consumption..I'm lookin to purchase the s60 2.0t..2001 model...I hear some individuals tellin me the car's maintenance is pretty high...so I would just like some advice.thank you.

Most European cars are more expensive to maintain. The biggest issure with the 01 models was with the TCM (Throttle Control Module). I'm not sure if the T's had the one that was going bad (Magneti-Marelli) or the Bosch, which did not suffer the same problems. If you do have the M-M TCM Volvo has extended the warranty to 10 yrs./200K miles. Mine is NA and I get about 32 MPG on highway, 24 MPG in city driving. Make sure that it has been checked by a trusted mechanic.
