hi to all. last week i replaced the cmu in my 2003 v40. now the high beam wont stay on (lights are turned on at switch) and the rear wiper only works on intermittent.
i know the replacement cmu worked before i bought it. also the faults were not present before. the replacement has the same model number. i have checked the fuses and wiring, and all okay. can anyone please offer a guess as to whats happened.

 

what do you mean by "CMU" are you referring to the CEM (central electronics module sits down under the dash by the hood release )? I'd start by making sure the connectors into the CEM are properly seated. Do you still have the old unit? what happens if you snap that back in?
