92 volvo 240 driver high beam not working
Hey guys finalizing some minor things on my 92 wagon I picked up. I just put in new head light bulbs and for some reason the driver side bulb goes out at high beam. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Thanks!
the high beams are wired together to the step relay output, so if one is working, adn the other isn't, its the wiring or socket or a bad bulb.
the step (high/low) relay is near the left headlight, pin 56a has a red and a white-red wire... the white-red one goes to the instrument panel high beam indicator, while the red one goes to a harness splice that goes to red wires to both high beams... if one high beam (and the indicator) are working, that suggests the relay is fine, so the problem is only in the wire specific to the left (drivers) headlight and/or the connector on said headlight, OR you got a bad headlight.
