I play drums in a band and was looking at a Renault Scenic as a replacement for my troublesome Zafira when I spied the Volvo at the silly price of £695. I am also 6' 7" tall. I then spent a week trying to talk myself out of buying it, but failed. I have owned it a week now. It snowed the day after I bought it, and again today. I love this car. Everything works, although there was a slight mishap when the seller was demonstrating the roof that caused a little tear in the vinyl. It was registered in December 2003 and has a full service history up to 90,000 miles; 5,000 miles ago. I haven't even looked under the bonnet yet. The MOT runs out in three months. I will get it tested soon but it drives so well and has had lots of money spent on maintaining it. I can't believe that the additional insurance cost for the year was a mere £60 more than the Citroen Xasara 2.0 D that I was driving previously.
