Hi Folks,

Hoping you can help here - i have a 2012 XC60 - took it down to southern utah to some bumpy roads and ever since whenever it gets cold there's a tapping/knocking/cracking sound that seems like it is coming from the drivers side front corner of the sunroof - this noise drives me absolutely bananas, and i've had it into the local Volvo dealership and certified volvo garages to take a look at it - they always add velvet to where it has been rubbing which mitigates the noise for a day or two and then it comes back with a vengeance!

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

From the research i've done it sounds like it could be a loose screw somewhere in the sunroof, or even the rear glass mounting tabs - local dealership wanted to charge me $2500 to "maybe" fix it so am trying to avoid that plan of action!
