I just picked up a 2010 C70 conv. Before putting it on the road I'm changing all the fluids and checking all systems. I have no warning lights and no messages. Everything looks to function correctly except the switch from automatic to manual shifting. I'm thinking it coincides with a cannon plug wire I found hanging behind the dash when I changed the cabin air filter ( THAT was a bugger! ). I'll include a couple pics here and hope that someone can help me find the female to this male plug. I've chased the root of the wire and checked what it can reach ( too short to go to the shifter ).
Many thanks in advance!
Rick Wallace of Venice FL comes from wiring harness just above the brake pedal assembly, has a clip at wire mid-point to secure the wiring.
Brother, I have exactly the same issue. Did you ever find out what the loose wire was for? I'm thinking it's for the cigarette lighter circuit, since that is inoperable in my c70, but I could be wrong. Please let me know...
