Hello everyone, too bad I didn't know sooner about this site! I love my Volvo!

 

I have a cracked headlight lens and water has made it's way in because the chrome/shiny finish looks dull. My question is has anybody had this happen and if so when they went to replace the lens was the chrome/shiny surface just dirty and could be wiped shiny clean or has there been more serious damage.

 

Welcome to the Forum. I have not replaced the headlight lens... hope I don't have to. I'm thinking the majority of the grime could be cleaned off... but depending on how long the grime has been there, it may have discolored a bit. Maybe someone else on here has experienced that and can throw in their 2 cents.
