Just joined today...proud only owner of a 1993 940 that is "just broken in" with 238K miles...had a used 2001 S80 with 140K miles that was totaled when my son fell alseep while driving and introduced the car to a telephone pole...he walked away with only sore muscles due to the seat belt and the fact that the front crumpled like it was made to do...Volvo for life is more than a marketing phrase to me now. I purchased a used 2002 S60 within three days with 66K miles for him and his brother to use. Now looking for information on the 940 transmission that doesn't want to stay in park. Hoping it is just an adjustment to the linkage. Any thoughts members?
