Seems pretty comprehensive. Had our 2004 Volvo XC70 for just over 4 years now. Bought it gently used, in great shape. Still in great shape. Most major issue in 4 years was replacing a very expensive halogen front headlamp that required replacing balancers, etc. Almost $1,000 to get a light working.
Still, it has been a great vehicle for negotiating New England winters. Absolutely first rate in the snow. I'd heartily recommend it.
Been looking for an answer this morning. Posted first time in XC70 category below. Dreaded Check engine light! I'd welcome suggestions from any & all Volvo brainiacs!

Well comprehensive is our middle name . . . not actually. Our middle name is reprehensible
If you don't have an OBDII reader take it by Autozone and have them pull the code(s). That will alllow you to narrow down the problem.
