Hello,

Just bought a 2002 volvo S60 for my son... a Marine stationed in Okinawa. Moving back to the states in July. I am driving this car through the warrenty period to make sure it is "just right". So far it is not. so will search further for info and help.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies...Well the 2002 S60 awd 2.4T is noisy in the front end, but of more concern is the transmission. It has a shift delay going from reverse to drive. The delay is 3 to 4 seconds and then it engages harshly. It is an intermittent problem. I also think that it missed a shift to 2nd or 3rd gear (not sure which) engine revved for about a second, then engaged harshly. Anyway going back to the used car dealer today. Hope they are backing up what they sold.

Eric
