Hello all, new forum member here. I joined because I just bought my third Volvo - a 2004 XC90 T6, with 193,000 miles! I know - I plead temporary insanity. The car is for my wife, she has always been the Volvo driver in the family (previous cars were a 2001 V70 T5 followed by a 2007 XC70). We went and looked at this car on weekend and I didn't have time to do my homework - found out after the fact that the T6 has a history of major transmission problems. The car looked pretty good - exterior was very good - looks like it has been stored inside most of its life. Leather is a little worn, but not too bad. Runs pretty good - only current problem is a slight tick from the front axles, an occasional tick from the top of one of the front struts, an HVAC blend door noise, and a whirring sound from the trans (eeek!)

Just wanted to say hi, I will definitely be looking for some technical help in the XC90 forums - wish me luck!
