Default New(ish) V70 owner

Hi all -

Just bought a '98 V70 GLT awd. Did a lot of poking around this site before I made my decision, so thanks to y'all for steering me in the right direction (model year) and for letting me know about the timing belt issues. This'll be the first car I've ever really owned the Buick from the parents doesn't count and I'm looking forward to lots of happy driving.

Welcome aboard and enjoy. We are having a couple issues on the forum right now. I believe the apostrophe was one of them. Anyway, search around and have fun.

Welcome to the forum, and have recall items taken care of if not done yet:

Make sure to follow scheduled maintenance, especially the timing belt + pulleys & hydro tensioner if so equipped.

Best of luck to you,

JPN
