Does your car have a sun roof? its possible the drain channels are clogged allowing water to spill into the cabin. Does this only happen after a rain storm? I'd also inspect the weather seals around the passenger door. Second question is whether your car is consuming any coolant. If you smell a slightly sweet smell when turning on the heat or starting the car first thing, or have some fogging on the windshield, it could be a heater core leak.
My car does have a sunroof. And l noticed the problem after we had days of lots of rain! However, the seat is never wet nor the front area of the floor. The pool of water is under the passenger seat. Now that it has rained more l hear water moved back & forth as lm driving. I thought perhaps l had left a liter bottle of soda under the seat! But nothing! I’m going to check the sunroof! Thank you for responding so quickly!

The sunroof drains go down into the body of the vehicle. As mentioned above, if they clog up they will spill the water out any area that runs downhill. I would tend to agree that's the problem.
We use a shop vac and small flexible hose to clear the lines. I do not recommend blowing out with compressed air since you can blow things apart.

Thanks for accepting me. Just put a deposit on a 2018 S90 T5. I had a 2016 Genesis that was totaled last Friday, so I need a new vehicle. The Genesis wasn't a bad vehicle, and held up great when it got hit but, dealing with hyundai service, was a nightmare. Looked at the mercedes C, BMW 3, Lexus ES350, as I wanted something smaller. Went to look at the XC40, and the dealer told me with the huge discounts, he could get me into a S90, for basically what I was paying for the Genesis. Can't lease a honda accord limited for the price I got.
Since, I have never had a volvo, and really don't know anyone with the S90, anything I should "look out" for?
Thanks
David
