I had a power steering fluid leak fixed a bit ago and ever since there has been a loud hum while driving. It is starting to drive me crazy and before I call my mechanic I'd like an idea as to what it might be. The car is working fine. Is it related to the power steering? Thanks!

 

What area of the car is it coming from?

 

Front end, i'm pretty sure drivers side. The noise also seems to quiet down abit when it's going over 80km/hr.

 

Do you feel pulsing in the brake pedal if you barely touch the brake pedal?

 

no, i don't feel anything on the break pedal.

 

OK then maybe a front wheel bearing is bad.
