Default new volvo driver!! :D

Hi Guys, I'm Nick from Melbourne Australia.

I've never really liked the typical old school volvo estate etc...as most in melbourne are the ugly tissue box one, late 90's early 2000 i saw some lovely examples and always thought wow...what a difference over a tissue box on wheels.

Just over 2 years ago I bought myself my 1st V8 sedan, a locally built australian made HSV, with allllll the options. just recently i visited my local volvo/landrover dealer and fell in love with a fully optioned s80 v8. cream leather, perferated leather cooled seats, blis, acc, i was very wow...

I went back a few months later as it was just way out of my league in price, to find one considerably cheaper but equally as good (minus cooled seats/acc and blis)

but with sunroof, new tyres, 1.1years registration, european plates, a service, undercar detail, so you can imagine i drove away feeling quite pleasant!

My 2007 s80 v8 in Oyster Grey.

Nice car, but what I really want to see is a pic of the motor.

Welcome to the forum.

That is beautiful.

Follow scheduled maintenance and your Volvo would serve you a long time.

Cheers,

JPN

It's a fantastic car, i just got a brand new windscreen installed as they sold it to me with a big dirty chip in it, luckily it was fully replaced as the screen was very lightly sandblasted all over!

they supplied me with volvo touch up paint and clear, just need to get someone with some professional know how.

i have now driven a d5 s40, zippy but slow, average/ok handling and i've also tried a c30 2.4petrol, not as zippy as the td, and very average handinling, i get in the s80 and it's pure bliss! handling is unbelievable!
