Default New Volvo Owner

Hello everyone!

I just got my first Volvo and joined this forum. My "new" car is a 1994 850, non-turbo and 5 speed stick. I bought it from the original owner. I had the local volvo dealer run the vin in their system, and they confirmed that the previous owner never skipped a beat when it came to servicing the car, so I'm pretty confident it was a good buy. Anyway, don't have any big plans or problems for the car. Just installed a keyless entry system today, and other than that the cruise control and heated seats are not working, and the stereo has a horrible scratching noise whenever I adjust the volume :-)

So at least I got some stuff to keep me busy, and I'm sure I'll be asking about stuff here once I run into problems!

Anyway, just wanted to stick my head out and say Hi!

Hi, I'm a new member too. just got a 95 850 turbo for my son. Getting things in shape for service. Car came from chevy dealer. history OK, but need to know if keyless entry was an original option on this car. If so I can purchase a remote. how do I determine if this option was on the car?
Thanks,

dave
