Greetings all- After I got my first 1984 240 DL Wagon almost 20 years ago, I have not been able to even think about getting any other car. Hears my problem, I currently own a 1993 DL wagon which was plowed into outside of my center city home one night by a drunk. Hit and run and destroyed my front end including axle. I am possibly purchasing a 1992 240 in the next day or so and am curious if/what parts are interchangable before I scrap or sell my 93. Any info is appreciated. And if Mr. Volvoman is reading this, bring back our beloved model! I'd sign that petition! Thanks in advance.

 

Uh...99.9% is interchangeable. ABS was optional in 92, standard in 93. Both more likely than not are LH3.1 Jetronic...Other than some possible trim differences they are identical. I'd save the car for parts for sure.
