Default Newbie from South Jersey Onboard

Hey Y'all- Just brought home the families new addition. A creampuff 06 S40 w/ 20k miles. I have already taken a real liking to this car- after just a few hours.
It will be replacing my wifes 93 Explorer, which has been a great car- but after 15 years, is starting to show some age wrinkles.
I bring my sense of humour in exchange for the occasional point-in-the-right-direction when it comes to keeping this car hummin.
So thanks for the welcome andalso inadvance for info--regards

Welcome to the forum, I look forward to your sense of humor.

Your Explorer has served you very well, you must have taken great care of it. Make sure to do the same for your Volvo, but expect some electrical & electronic system troubles. You will find help, so post technical questions either in the S40 forum or General Volvo Chat.

Best wishes,

JPN

Thanks! Today's shenanigans consisted of detailing the Ex and posting it on Craigslist. Still does look & run good. I have maintained it, as I do everything, to the tenth degree.
My wife's apprehension to give her truck up is quickly evaporating the more she drives the S40. I catch myself just staring at this car whenever I am outside. Another nice perk is how rare these cars are. That and thestyling of every other 4dr, quasi/compact car doesnt compare.
Sure do appreciate this site. Look forward to helping in the Penta section when I can and spending much time here!

Pic On Edit..Not a great Picture Taking Day Weatherwise!
