Hello Guys & Gals,

Just a quick into note to y'all. Looking to get into a '98, '99, '00, or '01 C70 convertible down here in South Florida. Have seen 2 so-far that I didn't like -- either too worn down or too many things non-functional. Have a 3rd this evening - a '99 w/ 36k miles, very clean, dealer serviced it's whole life I'm told. We shall see.

Have read lots on this board, Thanks!! Will look extra close at the seller's records & will have the dealership do a complete pre-purchase inspection if I like the car. Any last minute words of advice of what to look at besides the ETM status & the electric windows operations?

Again, Hello,
Parva

I suggest you wait for a 1998. Because the ETM will go bad again in its lifetime.

I was going to buy one once, but after reading so much about them and actually test driving one, I decided to stick with my 850 R's. There were quite a few problems with the early model C70's. I like the looks of the convertible, but I would never buy one.
