Hi this is the second S40 I have owned the 1st being a 2.4i petrol auto 56 plate which was a dream to drive it had a dipstick to check oil level on transmission. I now have a 2.0 diesel R design auto 59 plate there is no dipstick so I'm thinking a level plug but cant find it. Just want to check it has enough oil because it slips in 1st then bites causing wheel spin when trying to pull away quickly then changes hard to second. Does anyone know where the level plug is?
