There are multiple right ones. Not changing it will be way more expensive.

 

Whatever you get make sure its right. Amazon sent me a Mann HU 819X was bigger than the housing and Autozone has the wrong part in their system...it fits but there isn't a plastic lock tab on the end.

 

you need to be careful with which sellers you buy from on Amazon. The good news is its pretty easy to return things since no seller wants you to paste a bad review. A Mann HU719/8x should be the one so it looked like the first digit got misentered. A good way to confirm the part number is to use a Volvo friendly web site like FCP Euro, EEuroparts, IPD USA or AZ Autohaus (I've used all of these at some point but prefer FCP and EEuroparts since they are both in the northeast.

 

Multiple brands sell filters for our cars. The actual filter in the box is usually made by one of three manufacturers. Even though it might be in a Purolator or Fram box, it may be made by Mann. There are some which have felt around the center hole. I try to avoid these for fear of the felt fibers coming loose and messing things up.
