Default S70 AWD cheap but tons of problems

I picked up a 1999 s70 awd for $700. My excitment was short lived when I dove into its problems. First I fixed the abs module. I fixed the power locks. Fixed 3 of the 4 power windows. Did some body work. Put new tires, new front struts, brakes, oil, coolent flush. Now I have $1250 in the car. Seems like a steal.
Current problems: gas gauge is inop. I'm getting p0740 & p1618 codes. Vibration between 55 & 70 mph.
I have taken a bath in gas but have not yet figured out the inop gas guage. Need wire diagrams!!!
The codes point to a torque converter silonoid. Thinking about flushing the system
As far as the vibration, if its not a bent wheel then I'm stumped.
The plan was to give the car to my nephew as a safe first car. I can live with a trans code as he will prob wreck it before the trans dies. I need to figure out the fuel gauge and vibration.
My gas tank is more closely related to v70 awd and v70 xc although its a s70. What sub forum should I post in?
