Default srs message

I went to the Volvo dealership and they suggested to replace the air bag sensor, which I did.
The srs air bag message remained and was not cleared. I brought my car home and now I am looking for answers.
Thank you,
Remy

Srs codes (and warning light) will only clear by using a scan tool to erase the code. Simply replacing a (supposedly bad) part will not make the warning go away.

Are you saying the dealer replaced a part and you still have a airbag warning, or you replaced a part and still have problems?

Thank you for the quick reply. The dealership being far away, I went to a local body shop who replaced the part. They then put the scanner and could not find a way to delete the error code.
I am guessing of a wire issue but this is far fetched!

not all scanners can read/clear the "chassis" codes (where the SRS codes are) See if you can find a Volvo friendy shop who'd be wiling to try and clear the code again. FYI its possible the original code may have been set by a wiring issue so more diagnosis may need to be done.

Thank you, this is where I am leaning!
I got a code: SRS-B11A081
I have an appointment with a local European car garage who hopefully can resolve my issue.

Might have been a hungry squirrel!

I did a google and saw a reference to left side restraint pressure sensor. Its possible a connector under the seat got kicked or broken so I'd start there - otherwise your shop will need to do the looking.
