I'm about to get my third Volvo - the first was a (1960?) 122S - with a few differences - a bit lower front and rear, a pair of bucket sized SU carbs etc - great little Q ship that finally succumbed in 1967 to the dreaded tin worm and my need for both A/C (Louisville, KY) and a place for a 250 lb Irish Wolfhound. it was replaced by a Chrysler wagon which, it turn, was replaced by a 1976 265 - beautiful car, beautiful interior, @#%##@%$ Volvo-Peugot-Renault V6 - after seemingly endless injector flushes, it was sold with 44K just before (my mechanic warned me) it ate its camshafts. Not a good experience.

This week I will be collecting an '03 V70 2.4T with 29K miles on it - any words of wisdom about vices or problems that I should look for? (It is one of the "Certified" cars with a warranty until '08 or 100K miles)

I drove in one and felt like I was driving a Chevy Cavalier. I don't like them at all.

 

i think they are good family cars.... But i dont like how they drive myself....
