Ok I'm looking to upgrade my Radiator and turbo hoses to Samco hoses. My question is there are 2 types of turbo hoses one with d/v connection for a bov and one with out. Samco also sells BOV ( http://www.samcosport.com/us/dv_appl...asp?make=Volvo ) Does anyone know if I get the hoses with the d/v connection for a Bov and the samco Bov, will that eliminate my need for my bov to be welded on? Also has anyone used a Samco Bov? Is it loud?

 

If you buy the SAMCO hoses and the one with the exstention for the BOV and you get the SAMCO BOV then there is no need to weld one onto your charge pipe.

Also I cannot tell you how loud the SAMCO BOV is I have never heard one go off.

I don't think you get a fitting kit with thw BOV hose kit. Get the fiting kit seperately.

 

Samco makes the hoses for this company called Forge, I use a Forge BOV that acts as a diverter valve also, I am running it on a 2004 Audi A4 thats pushing just over 15lbs of boost and it sounds very loud and amazing. Its perfect for scaring that pesky cat thats about to walk into the street and mess up my bumper.. haha, anyways I dont know if this application is even a similar comparison but thats just a bit of info.
