Unhappy Need help with 94 940 starting issue

Hi all----i am a new member to this forum. I have a 1994 940 non turbo sedan which until 2 days ago starts and runs like a champ. I may not be an expert, but it seems to me to be a fuel related issue. Last night i finally got the car to start, but it ran for about five seconds and shut back down. There seems to be fuel at the injectors however not much at all in the way of pressure. The fuel filter has not been changed since i have owned the car (about 55,000 miles) im wondering if that might be the place to start? Also im not sure on how to test the fuel pump and relay. Any insight into these and any help would be greatly appreciated....thank you all

the easiest thing to check with the fuel pump is to listen for it. key on engine off, listen for the hum from the trunk.

is it getting spark?

You might have 2 fuel pumps, one under the car and another in the tank. try to listen for both if you can't hear them, check the Relays. they are behind ashtray/radio. I have a tough time with my 93 940 not starting, a couple years ago. it was the Coil - $40 part at Autozone. also the Crank Position Sensor could be bad

Good luck
