Default Starting problem --- Need help!!!

Hi everyone. I recently bought a 1998 C70 t5 auto last fall and it started acting up a few weeks ago. It gradually stopped starting until now where I need to short the starter in order for it to crank over. I have replaced the starter, ignition switch, relay, and the positive battery cable that goes to the main fuse box (mine was completely corroded). It still doesn't crank over. I've gone in with a test light and tested all the wires that lead up to the starter (got the diagram from AllData so it is very detailed with wire colors). All the wires become hot when the ignition is turned, including the green one that goes directly into the starter. I am out of ideas and really don't want to go to Volvo to have them diagnose it for another $150. Does anybody have any ideas??

Thank you
