Default Abbreviations, Etc

I assume the majority of the VF members speak English as their first language. I don't think English is the hardest language in the world to learn, when you have Arabic & Thai (their writings are impossible), Russian & Northern European languages (well, like Swedish) but it is hard enough.

Anyway, here are some of my early misunderstandings & a few inspiring suggestions.

IMO:
Ver.1: IMmObiliser.
Ver.2: I'M Offended.
Ver.3: In My Office.
Ver.4: International Monetary Organisation.
Ver.5: Japanese word for "Potato", pronounced as "e-mo".

LOL:
Lexus Or Leave.
Lady Over Laughing.

LMAO:
Ver.1: Lexus Mercedes Acura Olds (tough competitions in the luxury zone).
Ver.2: Look My Arm is Off.

BTW:
Ver.1: Boycott Toyota Worldwide.
Ver.2: Be The Wildest.
Ver.3: Bi...never mind.

BMW:
Ver.1: Best Mobile in the World (well-said).
Ver.2: Be My Wig.

AUDI: CPAs' favourite car, except it's missing "T"urbo.

LEXUS:
Loaded EXtra for US customers (power-everything, DVD, emergency ejection seats, etc...).

ACURA:
Ver.1: Accidental Car Users' Reimbursement Association.
Ver.2: Someone at Honda was lazy to spell out "ACCURATE" or misspelled "AQUA" (This was probably the case).

NOKIA: A Korean auto manufacturer that was rejected in Finland (NO-KIA).

HYUNDAI: Someone tried to pronounce "HONDA" while drunk.

INFINITY: Infinite financial crisis thanks to French management & ownership[8D].

Thanks for wasting your time.
