Hey guys..
I am new here.. This is actually my first post... So I am looking for a new daily driver and think it will be a volvo wagon to be different. I am wondering which one has the best looks.. It has to be older than 1975 (No Smog) and be a wagon.. Any suggestions? I was kinda leaning on a 1975 Volvo 242 Wagon but not sure yet... Suggestions on a good looking wagon would be greatly appreciated.. I plan on making it get good gas mileage and look decent without putting a lot of money into it... Maybe like a 5.3 swap and lower it...

Here is my current daily driver.. The problem is it gets about 10mpg.. Not very good when your driving 60+ miles a day

 

A 1975 Volvo wagon would be a 245.

 

I have a '95 940 Volvo stationwagon w/ the 2.3 non- turbo and would buy every 940 I could get my hands on if I were rich. They are easy to work on and parts are easy to get. Don't buy any Volvo made after '95 unless you have deep pockets....well there's my 2 cents worth....burningfire

 

We had an 87 wagon and a 98 V70 wagon. Hands down that 87 wagon all day long.

 

Older than 1975 would be a V50 or V60. Had them both and I love em! Unfortunately sold the 2006 V50 but got a 2012 V60 with Polestar Enhancement right now.

 

I like my V90 but I truly think the perfect one would be a stripped down 740 wagon with no sunroof, cloth seats, manual trans and A/C and radio...that's it. Nothing to break, should run forever.
